Details
General
What is it?
An async competition where participants build data workflows and analyses using Prophecy AI to solve real-world problems — no live event, work on your own schedule.
When does it run?
April 20th – May 11th, 2026 (11:59 PM PT).
Who can participate?
Anyone 18+ residing in the US, UK, or India. Prophecy employees and their immediate family are not eligible.
Is there a cost?
No. Sign up for free here
What if I run out of AI credits?
During the hackathon, the credit ceiling will be raised to accommodate building projects with AI.
Submissions
How do I submit?
Fill out the official submission form here.
What must my project include?
Your project must be built on app.prophecy.ai, and your submission needs a video demo around 5 minutes.
Can I submit more than once?
No. One submission per person; multiple entries may result in disqualification.
Can I analyze company data?
Yes, but it must be authorized for public sharing or properly anonymized.
What if I don't have data to analyze?
Use any of the suggested public datasets (Kaggle, CDC Wonder, NOAA, SEC, Maven Analytics, and more) listed on the community hackathon thread.

Do I keep ownership of my submission?
Yes, but by entering you grant Prophecy a royalty-free license to use and promote your submission for marketing purposes.
